Starting with OMI

Hello!

My name is Lilia and I have recently joined the OMI team as a Marketing coordinator to help the company with their efforts to deliver marketing classes to anyone who wants to succeed in their work, business and etc. My journey to Online Marketing Institute (OMI) has been very interesting. I got a BA in Philology with a focus in Spanish language. I then obtained my MD in International Business with a focus in Marketing, studied in the USA, UAE and China. After, I joined Webgility as an intern and shortly after joining, my progressive performance earned me a promotion to the Marketing Associate position. Recently, I started working for Media Company as an interviewer and a videographer; there I had a chance to interview and meet very interesting and important people in the Silicon Valley.

I am a Marketing junkie at heart, a geek and even somewhat, a nerd.  I spent most of my time these days trying to take advantage of all the resources available in this amazing candy shop I came across by the smile of fortune.  The candy shop is the Online Marketing Institute with all their amazing classes and presentations. What makes it even more interesting is that most of the classes are not solely on marketing itself. Some of them include much deeper topics and explains on how marketing works from the point of view of human phycology, philosophy and etc.  So yes, I am here to make OMI an even more marvelous eLearning platform.  All of us here are working incredibly hard to achieve that dream and we will make it happen very, very soon. 

Digital Marketing is evolving extremely fast in the world today.  The pace is so fast that some of the marketing techniques out there are losing their relevance every half of the year or even faster.  Marketers are discovering newer explanations on how and why consumers make certain decisions and how to be influential on those decisions. How customers are interacting with products or webpages, what gets better response, the importance of the story and other essential things to understand the behavior of people. 

OMI is focusing on delivering absolutely the best customer service and providing the best interaction experience that a user can ever get. Our biggest goal is to deliver the most valuable and interesting classes and presentations as well as to understand current trends in Online Marketing.

Some of the most exciting projects that we are working on in OMI right now is the Digital Strategy Summit. This is truly the most comprehensive virtual event on digital marketing. The summit will feature tracks on trends and research, best practices and essentials, optimization, B2B marketing and small business essentials. As you can see, there are a lot of very interesting and important topics that we are covering. So make sure to join it. I am confident that this is going to be a very significant and valuable event in the world of digital marketing.

In the meantime, we all are working extremely hard to improve and enrich our eLearning platform with more valuable classes. We are adding more and more classes to our already extensive collection. So in order to ensure that we achieve our goal, we will need all the help and support that we could get from you.
